Will you join the village?

In Africa it is often said that it takes a village to raise a child. In light of the Covid-19 crisis, we at Their Lives Matter are asking for your support through our #WeAreTheVillage campaign. To safeguard our crucial services, we need €100,000 to cover all the emergency needs (chemotherapy, antibiotics, oxygen therapy, PPE, extra support staff etc.) to care for our vulnerable little people over the next few uncertain months.

Inspired by photographs of our childhood cancer survivors holding their hospital admittance image, the #WeAreTheVillage campaign reminds us that to go far, we must go together. It was not one doctor, one medication or one nurse that helped our little friends to grow big and strong, but the whole team: the village.

We are asking you to donate €10 here and share a recreation on social media of one of your favourite childhood photos with #WeAreTheVillage. Will you join the village?
