My name is Prof. Gileard Masenga. I am the Executive Director of the KCMC hospital and the Executive Secretary of the Good Samaritan Foundation.
The reason I am running the Kilimanjaro International half marathon (21km) is to raise funds for Tumaini La Maisha (TLM), a charitable organization which we have been closely working with to support treatment of children with cancer at KCMC.
The aim of KCMC and TLM is to “treat every child” with cancer in Tanzania, regardless of the economic status of their families.
These funds that will be raised from this drive will continue to pay for children’s medication and other expenses while being treated at KCMC cancer care center, pediatric oncology unit.
With humility, I kindly ask you to join me to donate to this purpose so as to continue supporting treatment of children with cancer at KCMC and the country at large.
Remember we have a duty to Save Little Lives and to Care for them!
