Diarmuid Cassidy


Diarmuid trained as a medical doctor in University College Dublin and practiced in Oxford University Hospitals. Seeking to more directly address the structural inequalities that led to disparities in patient health within and between countries, he left clinical medicine and joined McKinsey & Company, where he spent two years supporting governments on topics ranging from pandemic response and preparedness to trade. Now, Diarmuid is focused on researching and writing about social policies that positively impact current and future generations.
